Stress can be positive and mobilizing and usually happens when we face some kind of challenge, which we have to face for example an important presentation, meeting with a client or with the boss. Unfortunately, prolonged stress has a negative impact on our well-being or health. Therefore, we should try to control it. How? There are quite a few ways to relieve stress...

Dealing with stress - herbs

In mild states of anxiety and nervous tension, as well as in cases of falling asleep problems, herbs can be very helpful. It is even safe to say that herbs for sleeping are one of the better ways to fight stress naturally. The most popular is melissa - a plant with calming properties. Melissa is rich in essential oils as well as phenolic acids, flavonoids and rosemary acid. Dried lemon balm leaves can be used as a raw material to make infusions for drinking or as an essential oil for aromatherapy. Melissa helps to relax and calm down as well as to restore a healthy sleep.

Another noteworthy herb is the medicinal trestle also called valerian. The medicinal goat shows calming properties, relieves nervous anxiety, fatigue and helps with insomnia. Valerian extracts can be found as single preparations, but also in herbal mixtures as one of the ingredients.

When mentioning natural methods of fighting stress, one cannot omit lavender. Lavender has been known for centuries and is cultivated in many countries around the world, including Poland. Lavender infusions also have calming properties. They may prove useful in people suffering from anxiety or excessive nervousness. Regular consumption of lavender infusions can improve your mood and effectively relieve stress.

Camomile is another plant that is worth reaching for when you are struggling with stress. In chamomile baskets you will find flavonoids, choline or coumarin derivatives. What's important is that camomile has a very mild effect, so anyone from small children, teenagers, adults and seniors can use it successfully. The infusion from chamomile baskets helps to relieve nervous tensions, soothes nerves, but also facilitates falling asleep.

Ordinary hops are also worthy of attention. Although many of us associate hops with beer products, we have to admit that hop extracts have a much wider use. Such infusions can be used to calm or calm down the nerves. Hop extracts are also suitable for falling asleep problems.

Dealing with stress - physical activity

However, herbs are not the only way we can reach out when looking for something to calm us down. Physical activity is very effective in the fight against stress. As it turns out, taking any physical activity immediately reduces stress. What kind of physical activity we choose is entirely up to us. We can play ball, walk, run, cycle or even exercise in the gym. During physical activity, the body starts to produce happiness hormones, the so-called endorphins, which make us feel better.

Dealing with stress - CBD

The CBD, called cannabidiol, which is an organic compound found in hemp, can also help in the fight against stress. It is worth mentioning here that CDB has no psychoactive effect and is not classified as a narcotic substance, but it works in the fight against stress. CBD calms, calms down, improves your mood and has a relaxing effect. However, it does not end there, because CBD also regenerates nerve cells in the body, stimulates the nervous system and facilitates falling asleep. What is important, CBD can be used not only when we are struggling with stress, but also prophylactically, e.g. for the sake of a good and healthy sleep, to counteract depression. CBD is available in the form of oils, capsules and chewing gum, paste and e-liquids. Everyone will find something for him or herself.
