The expansion will help to meet the needs of companies in the region that have elected to do a business transfer or sale, merger, or recapitalization, as well as USA companies and private equity groups looking to invest in opportunities in Asia Calder Associates will open its regional headquarters in Sydney, Australia, and will also open its first regional office in Perth, Western Australia.

Calder Associates’ Asia operation will serve the needs of businesses in key countries including Australia, New Zealand, China, India, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, Philippines, and Malaysia.
Dr. Robert Brown will be the Managing Director for Calder's Asia operations, and work out of Calder's Sydney and Perth offices. Dr. Brown has strong experience in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, having run a successful M&A firm for many years, and is a past Chairman and Director of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB). Additionally, Dr. Brown is a Certified Practicing Business Broker (CPBB), and Registered Business Valuer (RBV), as well as Certified Trainer and Assessor.
Joining Dr. Brown, will be Victor ("Vic") Whiteley. Mr. Whiteley will be the Director of Calder's Australia operations. As Director, Vic will spearhead Calder’s Australia business and will work out of Calder's Sydney office. He will also assist in cross-Asia opportunities. Vic has an extensive background of more than 35 years, and worked in an executive capacity for many leading companies including IBM, GE, Sperry, Honeywell, Mitsui, and Nokia. Vic's experience covers a broad array of business entities and he specializes in information technology and electronics. Vic is a Certified Practicing Business Broker (CPBB), Registered Business Valuer (RBV), and a Director of the AIBB.
